鐵道運輸管理專業是學校重點建設專業，秉承“鐵路地方兼顧、重點打造軌道交通運輸管理”的專業特色，學校投資了200多萬在校內建設“復興號火車頭”供學生校內實訓使用，同時可共享湖南鐵路科技職業技術學院等院校的實訓設備，與廣州客運段、廣州南站、長沙客運段、長沙南站等鐵路客運部門建立長期校企合作運行機制，推行“以崗導學，實境育人”的人才培養模式，在教學中實施教學做一體的教學模式，培養了一批批軌道交通運輸管理專業方向的高素質中等技術技能型人才。
主干課程：
鐵道概論、鐵路線路與站場、鐵路機車車輛、鐵路通信信號設備、鐵路行車組織、鐵路客運組織。
